The Nohur village - inhabited by the Turkmens of the mountain tribe Nohur, who have preserved culture, traditional crafts and architecture. The village Nohur was included in the list of the “100 most romantic places in the world”. The villages Old and New Nohur on a mountain plateau are two-story houses of original architecture, laid out on the slopes of mountain stone, among vineyards, almond and pomegranate trees. Highlanders cultivate gardens and orchards in hard-to-reach places, narrow gorges and on mountain tops, at an altitude of 1600-1800 meters above sea level.

Dehistan - founded at the end of the III century BC and flourished during the rule of the Khorezmshah dynasty. It was destroyed by the Mongols, then reborn again. There was until about XIV AD Dehistan was part of an extensive cultural complex that included the Gorgan Plain in Northern Iran. The material culture of the Iron Age on the Misrian and Gorgan plains is identical and coincides in age.

Avaza - the natonal touristic leisure zone of Turkmenistan, located at the Eastern coastline of Caspian Sea, 12km to the West from Turkmenbashi city. The Caspian coastline of Turkmenistan is an ecological zone with an incredibly mild and salubrious air, also notable for its rich natural resources. Numerous hotels and resort type health centers of 5 star category were built in the last few years.

Yangy-gala canyon - "Fiery Rocks", "Pink Canyon"- the area is called so on Ustyurt ancient plateau to the south of the Garabogaz-gol bay in the north-west of Balkan region (165 km from Balkanabad and 160 km from Turkmenbashi).

Darvaza - a burning gas crater in the Karakum desert. Locals and travelers call it the “spark of Karakum”. Emerged as a result of an exploratory well drilling, during which has occurred the landslide of the soil and a large hole filled with gas appeared with a diameter of 60m and a depth of about 20m was formed.

Koytendag - the highest mountains in Turkmenistan. The main source of the modern tourist industry are the karst caves of rare beauty – Kap-Kutan, Khoshm-Oiyk, Gulshirin and other natural undergrounds.
